Accelerated Orthodontics Leader OrthoAccel Unveils 2017 AAO Plans Including 3 New Microlecture Speakers
HOUSTON, March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The leader in accelerated orthodontics, OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc. today announced that Drs. Sam Daher, Manal Ibrahim, Kenji Ojima, Ivan Malagon and David Couchat will be the featured microlecture presenters at the AcceleDent® booth (#3037) during the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session, April 21-25, 2017. Orthodontists and their staff are invited to attend the microlectures beginning daily at 11:20 a.m. On the opening morning of AAO exhibitions, Sat., April 22, those who visit the OrthoAccel booth will receive an appreciation gift and be entered into a grand prize drawing.*
Exhibiting for the fifth year at AAO, OrthoAccel representatives look forward to meeting with orthodontists and advancing the conversation about AcceleDent, the first and only FDA-cleared vibratory orthodontic device that is clinically proven to speed up bone remodeling during orthodontic treatment by enhancing physiological bone turnover. In addition, AcceleDent has been clinically proven to speed up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent and reduce patient discomfort.
Having offered AcceleDent at his Vancouver orthodontic practice for three years, Daher is among the world’s leading orthodontists who corroborate these clinical findings. During his AAO microlecture presentation he will unveil the next generation of accelerated orthodontics from AcceleDent.
Dr. Kenji Ojima, president of the Japan Academy of Aligner Orthodontics, will present his third AcceleDent microlecture during this year’s AAO. Pulling from his experience of treating over 1,000 AcceleDent cases, Ojima’s presentation will focus on improving predictable clinical outcomes with Invisalign and AcceleDent, his preferred accelerated treatment solution.
In her first time presenting an AcceleDent microlecture during AAO, Ibrahim, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, will discuss how she initially doubled her annual number of aligner cases by incorporating “accelerated orthodontics” into her marketing message. She will also present several of her clinical cases that show the improved predictability she achieves with AcceleDent.
“My practice has grown significantly since I began marketing myself as the “accelerated Invisalign” provider and treating every braces and aligners patient with AcceleDent,” said Ibrahim, who practices at Innovative Orthodontic Centers in Naperville, Ill. “I’m excited for the opportunity to present at the OrthoAccel booth during AAO and share with orthodontists and practice staff how offering AcceleDent allows me to achieve clinical results that match the outcome predicted during digital treatment planning.”
Also presenting their first AcceleDent AAO microlectures are Malagon and Couchat. Practicing in Madrid, Spain, Malagon is the only Spanish orthodontist who has been designated a Diamond Invisalign doctor for three consecutive years and the only specialist in Spain who practices the DSD Masters concept, a clinical protocol that focuses on combining aesthetics and health to achieve harmonious smiles for each patient. Couchat practices in Marseille, France and is a professor at the University of Ferrara. He is a society member of the French Federation of Orthodontics and general secretary of the French Association of Specialists in Orthodontics. Couchat is an Invisalign Diamond provider.
Each of the 20-minute microlectures will highlight cases that show the clinical and practical benefits of integrating AcceleDent into orthodontic treatment. The 2017 AcceleDent AAO microlecture schedule is listed below. For more information visit AcceleDent.com.
