DALLAS, Oct. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Invitation Homes Inc. (NYSE: INVH) (“Invitation Homes” or the “Company”) today announced that it has declared a cash dividend of $0.08 per share payable on shares of its common stock.  As contemplated by the previously announced merger agreement with Starwood Waypoint Homes (“SFR”), stockholders of Invitation Homes and shareholders of SFR are to receive a prorated dividend at each company’s current dividend rate for the period from its prior dividend record date until November 14, 2017, the date scheduled for SFR’s special shareholder meeting.  As the Company’s prior dividend record date was August 15, 2017, its prorated dividend is calculated to be $0.08 per share.  The Company’s dividend will be paid on November 7, 2017 to stockholders of record of the Company’s common stock as of the close of business on October 24, 2017.  This dividend will serve as the Company’s third quarter dividend.
